Since the Ambien truly causes her to be completely out of her own control, we’ve established some ground rules, that make us both very comfortable with the Ambien Sex. She knows we’re doing it, I tell her everything, there are no secrets. But she is a person that likes to be in control of herself (and everything else) and so the fact that we’re doing this shows just exactly how much she trusts me. I couldn’t do anything to betray that.
Here are our rules (which I will update as they change).
1. We don’t do anything that we wouldn’t do when she’s not on Ambien. (e.g. No Anal Sex, No Video Camera, No Pictures)
2. She waits until she’s in bed to take the pill, or at least I’m there with her. We don’t want any wandering ambien-zombie activity.
3. She will not take the Ambien when I’m not home.
4. She will not take Ambien when she’s not home.
5. She will always tell me when she takes the Ambien.
6. I tell her everything.
7. I will not let her bring her friends in for sex. (update: she’s offered a few times. [a] I’m not interested in her friends, and [b] it would be weird for all of us later).
8. I’m not allowed to slip her one (Ambien that is).
